FDJ (Desert Psychlist) For those not in the know this band have taken their name from a character in Mel Brookes "Young Frankenstein".
Like that character the music here is stern, strict and rather scary. Favorite track: Cold Lakes of Venus.

Steve Rodger Swaggering instrumental doom tinged jams a la Dopesmoker ( the band not the track ) it passed the first test in that I found my head nodding away as each track came and went. The production is sound and it all rattles along nicely. Favorite track: The Calm Before the Storm.

Not only do they take name inspiration from my favorite Flaming Lips album, but they’ve also become my favorite Doom band! This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
